Parent/Gaurdian Letter

Dear Parents/Guardians,

I am delighted to welcome your child to my class. I hope you shared an enjoyable summer together!

It is my goal that your child’s experience this year will be filled with personal growth as a thinker and learner. I am looking forward to starting this adventure!

Let me start off my introducing myself, my name is Miss Cropper. I am a first year teacher here at Red Mountain High School. I received my bachelor’s degree from Benedictine University where I majored in Special Education. I also was a women’s basketball player there for the Eagles. I love to camp, listen to music, work out, and spend every second I can outside when the weather is nice! I am the oldest of three children, I have a younger brother and a younger sister.

I got into teaching because I love the way it makes me feel! Seeing the students everyday and watching them progress through out the year really makes me happy! I cannot wait to watch your children grow and progress this year! High school is a very important time in kids’ lives. There are a lot of changes physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially going on. I plan to be there to help them through them all, that is if they need or want the help!

You will find enclosed is just about everything you need to or would want to know about my class. Please take some time to go through it. I feel that it is very important you know what is going on in school and will keep you posted with grades and the progress of your student.

If you have any questions feel free to call or email me!

Thank you!

Kristyn Cropper
